writes:I'm a girl. There's a guy in my class that's always hugging other guys and touching them awkwardly. Also, he talks like a girl (he has a guy voice but he talks like how a girl would talk) and sometimes he walks with his hand on his hip. He's never shown affection to girls (although once he had a crush on one). Everyone jokes and says he's gay, but I need to know if he really is gay, 'cause he's a really good friend of mine.

reader, anonymous, writes (6 October 2008): does he only act like this when hes around his friends goofing off,or is it how he normaly acts througout the day? some guys do joke around like that,but you can tell if its just joking or not.if he does it all the time,and always walks/talks in a feminine way then he probably is gay.but so what:) hes your friend so it shouldnt matter too much,although i can see why youd be curious.

 What difference does it make? Why are you so interested? Doesn't seem like it would be so big of a deal. You could always try asking him. If you don't feel comfortable with asking him, maybe that's a sign that it's none of your business.

 blimey i swear all the blokes i work with act gay but theyre not. even today they were groping eachother and pretendin to have sex. so goes to show that sometimes it doesnt mean anything. maybe you should just ask him. if your that good mates with him then he probably wont mind. would you have a problem with it if he was?
