 He's either very very shy, and doesn't know what to say to you, or is not interested.
Try texting him again, this time (now this is the clever bit) Ask him out! Try something like: hello (put his name here) it's (put your name here), (name a film you want to watch here) is out in the cinema would you like to come and see it with me?
And he will either say "yes", "No" or "who is this" if he uses the last two answers give up he is rubbish!
