We live miles away from each other, so always try to catch up if either of us is near the other. I've just emailed him because I'm going to be quite close to him when I go on a weekend break in October. I sent the email to his work as I usually do but today got a read receipt saying that he had deleted the email without reading it. The last time I spoke to him on the phone (in July) he sounded keen to meet up. I haven't spoken to him since because we've both been on holiday. Anyway the email had all the details of the weekend and asked if he fancied meeting up. I really want to see him, but am not sure what to do about the email situation. I can't see why he would have deleted my email without reading it and really hope it was a mistake. I just don't want to come across as a stalker when he might have just innocently deleted it. I would really appreciate some advice as I really want to see him (it's been nearly a year an a half since we last met up).

Maybe he is involved with someone and deleted the email so he wouldn't be tempted?
