my boyfriend of 4 months broke up with me 2 weeks ago, he said is because he was losing his job and couldnt be in a long term relationship at the moment, I have a child and he wants one as well, he said the future is what worried him because he would need a better paying job to be able to afford a house otherwise it wouldnt be fair to me...i have not heard from him and have not seen him. i call and text him and he doesnt respond..im not sure what to think. i told him i was willing to be by his side but he said that its not fair to me..he said that he wasnt going to hook up with anyone that if he was going to be with someone it would be with me..im not sure what to think anymore

thanks!! I have tried not to call him even though is hard, i never really got a straight answer from him. if he doesnt want to be with me that's fine, but he says that he does. i had been multiple days without calling him, when I did he didnt answer then i tried from a different number and he answered, he sounded very surprised when he heard my voice, he said he would call me later so that we could talk, but he never did..i dont see why I should stick around, he's not giving any signs that he wants me to. I guess I'm just used to talk things out and try to work them out as well...I dont want him to think that im desperate or anything like that so I have decided to lay low for a while and see what happens, if it's meant to be it'll happen..once again thanks!!

Maybe he needs to find his feet. He may feel guilty he can't support you like you need to be. He probably feels like he needs to support you and your child. The situation is vague and you need to communicate with him and support him as it is a difficult time for him.
