writes:my partner of 4 years has broken my trust buy lying to me.we have a chid together that is 18 months old. i went to visit him last night but couldnt bring myself to spend the night with him even though i wanted to!we have been through a lot but he cant find it in himself to tell me how he feel's about me. do i try to work things out or do i forget everything and try and get on with my life??  It depends on the lie! If it was about something really serious you might need some time to get over it but if it was something small forget it and move on. You have a child together and that child deserves to grow up in a happy and secure family so you should try everything to save your relationship before giving up.
