He broke it off and now I'm suing him!

My exfiancee left to his bachelor weekend only to return and tell me he no longer wanted to marry me. He said he had doubts. He never made it clear what those doubts were. He broke it off and now Im suing him for money I spent on the wedding. He recently wrote a letter practically stating that he broke off our engagement based on rumors....yes rumors....those doubts he had is where he withheld his love for me. I forgave him, when I left and to this date I still have no hate for him. Why do I still have strong feelings for him??
