It doesn't really mean that he doesn't wanna be with you. Talk to Him and let him know that you care about him and would never cheat on him. Like Jezebel said, He could've been cheated on in the past and might not be too trusting. Just talk to him about it before things get ruined.

 I agree with Jez..he could have low self esteem. Its obvious he has trust issues as well. Talk to him to get to the bottom of this ASAP or it could ruin what you have.
