 Porn stars do it, it is called Ass To Mouth (ATM). Of course, porn stars also have an enema, sometimes even two BEFORE the shoot starts.
That is why you never see any traces of feces in professional porn, it is completely clean. Anyway, they get paid for it.
As for getting sick of it. Well that risk is not as great as some make it out to be. If you happen to ingest your own feces by accident most likely nothing will happen depending on how sensitive you are. Lets not forget that we allow dogs who eat shit to lick our faces. The action is almost always, blowjob, perhaps a bit of vaginal intercourse, anal, finish with blowjob or even more likely jerk-off (because the guy has been acting for so long he can't even come anymore unless he does it himself) in/on her face. Foreplay to get her ready? Well that is what the starter blowjob is for.
It can give guys who watch this the idea that is how it goes in real life. Either because they simply don't know any better OR because they like the idea of women being nothing more then a collection of holes.
What is left is that some people really are into anal play, for some the anus is really sensitive, anal rimming (licking the anus) is a form of sex play and well, unless the person on the receiving end REALLY cleaned themselves well... lets just say that sex is dirty.
Does he love you? I don't know, he might simply not know any better, he might be selfish or he might be a real asshole.
So yeah it is nasty. Is ATM worse then anal? Wrong question, if you think either is bad, don't do it. But that is probably to male an answer.

Actually, I wouldn't recommend doing it at all, it only takes one time! He should be thankful that you let him do whatever he wants when it won't affect your health - there needs to be some boundaries, and this is one of them.

You should know this and so should your man. If he loved or respected you - or at the very least didn't want you to get sick - he wouldn't ask you to do something so risky to your health. He does love you, he just has a very kinky side.
If you feel really uncomfortable with it, then make sure he knows and he should respect that. Anal is more than most guys get so he shouldnt push his luck.
However, if you think you might be up for maybe trying it, I suggest you either clean up really well or use an enema beforehand. The enema (as scary as it sounds) cleans out all of the nasties (and btw, your mouth has a TON of bacteria as well) and it makes it much safer to do. You dont even have to tell him you cleaned up so that way he thinks its all dirty (Im assuming he would like it that way).
Its all up to you and how you feel. With the proper cleaning before and afterwards, you shouldn't have much to worry about.
On another note, NEVER EVER go from anal sex straight to normal sex without much cleaning. That will give you bad infections and possibly prostatitis for him which takes up to several years to go away.

It dosen't matter what he wants, you can't do this because it is dirty and can be very dangerous. At least ask him to wash first before you continue on to oral sex. It's nothing to do with your love for him, you have to practice safe sex and cleanliness is one of those things you just have to be responsible about each and every time.
