Maybe he's getting too comfortable with you and is starting to take you for granted, knowing you'll always be there when he decides to come home? Or maybe he's getting bored? Maybe he's just going through a phase, freaking out about commitment? I don't know which of these, if any, it is, but only you know this guy and only you can find the answers.
Talk to him. Ask him why he doesn't spend as much time with you as he did. Maybe you'll get the answers you need, maybe he'll just make excuses and dismiss it. But you can't hang around like this forever, and let him know this. You want more attention and more of his time and energy in the relationship and if he isn't prepared to step it up, he better pack his bags.
Good luck and I hope it's nothing serious.

This is just his way of chilling out. Dont worry about it. Especially if his friends are descent and wont influence him in any way. Remember absence makes the heart grow fonder. If its really concerning you, then have a chat with him, and explain your feelings. why dont you go out with your mates more aswell? These feelings can turn into jealousy... ive been there.
