writes: I have been with my partner for nearly 3 years now, when we first got together he called me by the name of his ex girlfriend, this was a mistake and ok.He was with her for 4 years and she was his first real love...However we mentioned her name the other night and in bed later that night, we were just talking and he called me her name again.He never sees her, and she occasionally rings him for a chat...i would welcome and explanations that any one can give me on this issue, we both love each other but this really hurt me.His explanation is that he is relaxed and that is why?Please help

 Nothing to worry about at all ! I still do this occassionally with men too, it means nothing - nothing at all ! Also my ex calls me by his current girlfriends name by mistake every now and then too ! It's purely a slip of the tongue !
