A female Australia age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I have locked myself in my dads car just to stop my boyfriend from abusing me. He also wants to go off at my mum over childish things that have nothing to do with him. Thats going to turn her against me. Is it wrong for me to tell his disabled mum that he beats up on me as she will turn her back on him. Or am i just as bad as him?

A female reader, Emilysanswers United Kingdom +, writes (17 September 2008):

Tell your mum and dad that he is threatening your mum and hitting you.

Do you notice that he only ever threatens women? So if you go to his mother it won't help.

He's a stupid cowardly little boy and if he had to face up to a man like your dad he would run away crying.

Dump him and tell your parents. They will be able to look after you. Your Dad will probably only have to look at him and your boyfriend will run back to his mummy.

Good Luck!! xx

starlapose agony auntThis is a great question.

You r a true gift. One that doesn't need to be taken advantage of in anyway. I want to understand that abuse in not acceptable. Right now you need support from a close friend. Tell your doctor or a support centre for women they will really give you the true answers that you need at this time in your life. Listen life is to short to waste it on somone who doesn't see the true worth of you.

He can only do what you allow him remember this honey.

Take care

an best wishes
