Hi.

I'm a 17 year old girl and plan on having sex for the first time. I know it can be painful, but is there any way I can make it less painful? My guy has a really large penis, and I'm scared that I'm too tight for him.

Is it safe to try and break the hymen with a tampon?

help greatly appreciated

Skye

well my first time sex was at the age of 16 i was also very scared that my partner was too big, try breaking it with a tampon but be carefull of a bleed, or peraps buy a fake penis or use a banana and practise putting it into your vagina and it should become bigger, if your partners penis does hurt when it goes in do not carry on pushing remove it and lubrcate some more if this doset help then you may need to visit your doctor for advise on large penis' otherwise you will be in a lot more vaginial pain!

xxxsoulsistaxxx agony auntThe vagina is a very flexible thing and no one is 'too tight' to have sex. The best thing to do is relax. Make sure you've sorted out the contraception (obviously you have to wear a condom to protect yourself but also, the lubrication on them will help when he enters you.) Try some separate lubricatior too, make sure it's safe to use with condoms though.

As long as this is the right guy and you feel comfortable with him, things will work out. It might be a bit hard to get in at first and it may hurt a little but you'll know whether you're doing the right thing or not when you're in that position. Good luck, and remember to relax as tense muscles=more pain!!! Hope it all goes well.

ps dont bother with the tampon thing, if you wear them when you're on your period, the chances are you've already broke your hymen. Plus, this won't ease the pain even if you do break it. Just relax, it's one of the most important things you'll ever do so enjoy it!!!

i feel totally connected to you. i lost my virginty at 15 and my then boyfriend had a very large manhood. You cant be too tight because, when you think about it, a child is meant be squeazed through there later on in life. The best way you can make sex more comfortable is to make sure that you are more comfortable. If you are nervous at all you may contract and find it more difficult to be arroused. try a bit of forplay. This will help you to relax in each others company, make you aroused(which will cause discharge which acts like a lubricant, and also loosen you slightly, help you to discover what each other likes and many more things.) other than that just make sure you let your partner know if it is hurting and take it slowly until it gets more comfortable. good luck xxx
