A male United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Hey there.

It has been a very long time since i have liked a girl but a couple of weeks ago i met a girl through a friend and i just had the general feeling we had a connection.

We have sent loads of messages to each other since and have seemed to be getting on well. But today i met up with her and another friend and i felt real nervous and not at all confident. The feeling we had before wasn't there and i couldn't keep eye contact, kept running out of things to say and generally felt worried about not doing the right things. I still really like this girl and don't know what to do next.

Have i mucked this up or is it salvagable? It's been so long since i've liked a girl like this that i can't bare for it not to work. Please help- what should i do? thankyou!
