writes: has anyone had any experience with having cosmetic surgery abroad? there are a few things i really want done but the prices in the UK are among the highest in the world. i could get it done a lot cheaper abroad and its not that it would be done on a butchers table somewhere its just that surgery is cheaper there for some reason.the NHS wont pay for what i want because to be honest they would probably see it as pure vanity, and it probably is mostly but i'm desperate to have this done. and even if the NHS did, the waiting list would be about a year long and its upsetting me so much i want it done now. i know i know, i'm impatient.i'm already working 3 jobs (and 21 hours a day some days!!) to fund this (and doing a few SLIGHTLY seedy things on the side..) because im so serious about this but does anyone have any advice or opinions on the matter? xx

reader, anonymous, writes (24 October 2007): Why are you not happy with what you look like? I'm sure plenty of people see you as a highly attractive person and anyway - it shouldn't matter to your friends what you look like anyway.
Why have this surgery? It's just taking away your identity and half warping you into someone else. My advice is not to get it done and to jus be yourself. x
