writes: My boyfriend has a problem with his penis which is affecting our sex life. He is 31. Basically, his foreskin has got very tight, and when he pulls the skin back it splits (very painful for him). He has seen his doctor four times about it, and is now waiting for an appointment with a urologist to look at a circumcision. However we've been waiting for an appointment for months now. We are still having sex about twice a week and we are very cuddly people so it's not like I'm deprived of affection, but I am just so sick and tired of the situation now. We have a very solid relationship and he knows how i feel about this but I just want a normal sex life not one where I'm always worried whether he's split again, and how long he's going to take to heal. I don't know what advice i need. Anything anyone can say to reassure me, or keep me going a bit longer would be great. Also, if you've gone through this, let me know how!!!

reader, anonymous, writes (30 January 2006): My hubby had the same problem, so bad in fact it split and bled when we were only having out second sexy moment together! Can you imagine the embarrassment? Anyhow, he went to his GP and he had a little circumcision op at the local hospital.......and hey presto no more probs. We were *up and about in a matter of weeks after the op. It is worth the wait belive me. It was about 7 months start to finish.Hope this helps a bit x

reader, anonymous, writes (30 January 2006): I would advise to be patient...i can imagine how frustrating it is for you and painful for him,but be secure in your relationship..at least he hasnt pulled away as far as intimacy and affection.i hope the circumcision will help but in the mean time you might want to try certain toys..also not sure if you have tried a hypo-allergenic lotion to keep the skin moist and plyablealso im sure youve done this...do all the reaserch online you canGood luck and hope this helps at least a little
