Hard to let him go, what should I do?

I meet this guy and we have been knowing each other for one month and something days. And I read some advice about someone elses question and she was going to end it. I gained feelings for him and then lost them later on, cause I felt used. now I really don't care, if he's being a jerk. And he is a good friend and we tell each other everything but he tries to ignore to hang in public. We kept it secret but now everyone who needs to know, knows and yet nothing. I don't know what to do. And its hard to let him go as a lover cause this is the first guy that I have everything in commen wit. And we have some differences.but I still don't know what to do. help,plz! :(
