The morning after pill can be taken up to 72 hours after, but with each day the chance of success get lower (not sure on how much) Only thing i can say is dont leave it too late before doing a test (i think im right in thinking they can wrongly say negative if in the very early stages of pregnancy, not 100% sure though) or going to see a doctor, the sooner you know the better. And in future...play safe :P

reader, anonymous, writes (7 January 2008): Well the morning after pills is not a form of abortion. From when you took the pills it then blocks the sperm from getting to the egg. But, If the sprem already reached the egg the pills won't abort the egg. It takes anywhere up to 72 hours for the sprem to reach the egg. So just pray his sperm swam slow this time and didn't make it there yet. Use protection next time. Good Luck.
