And since Monday, I get the sudden itches down there. Sometimes it burns when I urinate. I know that I should get tested, but I've looked up the symptoms and I have no clue what it might be...Do the symptoms sound familliar? Reply to this Question Share |

babieegirL is verified as being by the original poster of the questionHey, again.
It's not like I slept around. It was with my boyfriend (which I forgot to mention). I just wanted to thank you for your answer. I just wanted a little heads up of what it might be before I go and get tested so I can let them have an idea of what to look for. I have been tested 3 times before,(for certain reasons) and they have all shown that I was clean. I know it's stil no excuse for not using a condom. But, like I siad, thank you for your answer. It's releaved some stress.
Thanks*

Sometimes a lot of sex can cause irritation and usually calms down after a day or two. Many women experience the 'burning' sensation when they have water infections, as yr bladder is so close to yr other genitals sex can sometimes pass bacteria to this area causing bacterial infections. Another possibility is thrush which again isnt sexually trasnmitted but changes in the PH balance of the vagina can cause this which usually comes with itching and tenderness.
You do however need to see yr GP or local Genito Urinanry Clinic to get tested for the above and also any sexually transmitted infections such as Chlymidia which sometimes can have no symptoms at all! To leave any bacterial infection or STI untreated is just detremental to yr health in the long run (some STIs can cause infertility). Good luck
