Your bodily secretions will be impacted by what you eat.
if you are tart and want to be sweet add strawberries and/or pineapple juice daily.
I don't know what's common vs uncommon but your questions in your post (NOT the title since I know the mods can change that for you) are:
What's it mean and is it unpleasant for dudes?
what it means is that your "flavor" changes
and you asked is it unpleasant for dudes.
I don't know how dudes feel about it but while sweet is better tangy is ok... as long as it's not fishy or off it's all good.

"Is it unpleasant for dudes" and "guys is this a turn off" led me to believe that's what you were going after.
I've never tasted a vagina that reminded me of vitamin C. That doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you obviously, but I've never experienced it.

I agree with the most recent poster. I don't have symptoms of yeast infection.

How I taste very much depends on what I've been eating.
If I have a day where I eat lots of fruit, vegetables, juice, etc then I taste good.
If I eat garlic, onions, cheese, meat, really salty things, etc, then I taste…not so good.
I don't think you have an infection, I think you're just familiarizing yourself with yourself, haha. Pay attention to how it changes throughout your cycle and with your diet :)

Get checked for bacterial vaginosis. Very common, not an STD, not harmful but can cause an unpleasant odor.

Also, what you eat affects your PH. Perhaps avoid eating/drinking acidic things.

Of course it's unpleasant, but hopefully your guy would be mature enough to not embarrass you and to understand that the chemistry of the vagina is perfectly natural.
Don't expect him to go down on you if it tastes sour though.
