Guys, how can I boost a potential boyfriend's confidence?

ok i met this guy a while back and we speak all the time and he is fine but he gets shy and embaressed very easily his confidence is very low and doesnt have a good opinion of himself. we are now contemplating being a couple.i tell him all the time that he is handsome smart and so forth. it does seem to help but i dont feel its enough. since i met him he has become alot more confident but i still think he has a bit of a way to go. so guys out their any suggestion on how to boost his confidence ? thanks

Well,Most guys like him, tend to have alot to say, I used to be somewhat like your friend, and I just needed to have someone who opens up, so try telling him something embaressing about you, but don't push him into telling you his embaressing times, he will soon start to open up more, and be more physical with him if your not, I'm not talking about sex, I mean like hugs, maybe kisses. Oh and remember, do not be pushy with him.

P.S, if you haven't kissed him then, you might want to do so, that will push up his cofidence, by alot.
