 Think of it this way- girls who make themselves all pretty and pampered up, only have something to hide, and they don't notice what they don't have is the mind, as you may have, and they often are only wanted for what they have, not who they are. And beauty on the inside lasts more than makeup and clothes. Because eventually you'll get older, have grey hair, and be alone, if you're one of those girls who worry to much about how they look, but you, if you don't get much attention, you wont be so alone, because you'll have someone by your side that still wants you for the you thats inside. Most guys don't realize that, especially most guys in high school, but don't worry about how you look, or who likes you and who doesn't. Because those "pretty girls" are ugly, and they depend on the dumb opinions of those guys who only want whats in the pants. Don't be the stupid girl, be confident, but don't overdo it. And remember, Be more beautiful on the inside than out, because that will only make you have the personality, and the looks. Just spice yourself up a little if you're worried about looks. Go shopping, do something for yourself that'll make you feel special and remind your self that God made you (specifically you)different from everyone else because there's only one you, and you have to cherish yourself more than anything else.

 I'm pretty sure there's nothing wrong with you. You might not be as confident as other girls, but you're still there. It's just that most teenage boys tend to notice confident girls who make themselves obvious rather than the ones in the background, such as yourself. But don't worry because as you get older, guys will start paying you more attention. A lot of guys think shyness is cute! In a few years time, I'm sure you'll be getting plenty of attention off of boys! So stop worrying because there's honestly no need!
