Hi

Hoping that someone might be able to give me some insight.

I started a new job a few weeks ago and since working there I have tried to knuckle down and do a good job so haven't taken much notice of other people and more or less just spent time talking with members of my team.

In the past week and a half I have noticed a guy looking at me. Every time I turn around he always seems to lock eyes with me and then I turn away. He doesn't smile but then neither do I as I usually feel quite embarrased. He has amazing eyes and it feels like they are burning straight through me when we catch each others eye which seems to happen often.

One night i turned to find someone to help me with something i was working on and he was facing my way and looked straight at me, again no smile.

We both leave at the same time, around ten minutes earlier. In my case it is to catch my bus or i would have an hour to wait in a lonely unmanned bus station.

Since he started staring (or when i noticed) I've hoped that we would end up going out at the same time and i could speak to him. One night I left and as i went down the stairs i saw him wait for the lift. When i got to the bottom he was leaving the lift. He looked sraight at me but again not smiling and he continued on his way.

On thursday we were both getting ready to leave and as I passed him he was putting on his jacket. He smiled at me and i returned the smile. I decided to take the lift as i had done the previous night and I heard him swipe out. My stomach did flips and he came and stood next to me. He turned and smiled and said "well another night done" maintaining eye contact. I smiled and continued the conversation. We both found out where the other lived and as we left the lift i found he lived where i live now. When we got to the end of the ramp outside he said "It's a shame that I don't live over there anymore or we could catch the bus home together".

Is it my imagination or is that just friendly or ever so slightly flirtatious. I'm not sure i know any man who could say that to a woman he'd only just spoken to.

The only thing is that on the following day he didn't make eye contact once and he didn't leave at he same time as me, however he did arrive late.

I am really quite attracted to him and finding that he's completely occupying my thoughts this weekend. I could smell his aftershave while he was stood next to me in the lift and i could feel my stomach flip. And I can still see the way he looked at me in the lift.

I'm hoping monday will make things slightly clearer and i'm impatient for the weekend to finish (how crazy is that? :P).

anyway some insight on this would be great

thanks for reading x

luvy duvy agony auntoK...UH, UM, first i think the guy at your job is a total creep...all he did was stair and not smile. Stay away from him. I have a feeling he is not a nice guy, and i take my feelings very very seriously.

ok, i am going to take bits and pieces of what you said and make infrences.

1. He stairs at you, does not smile, and he TRIES to make eye contact.: He does this to make you think he is interested, and yes he is.

2. He wishes he still live near you, he know where you live: He might try to follow you.

He sounds like a phscho to me.

Though, if he staired at you as if he was admiring you or enjoying your beauty or engaged in fantasies about you...that is soooo okay. If not, that dude is crazy.

I think YOu should tell him these words exactly (well, you can add what you want) "Hi! I notice you looking at me, and I would like to know if you would be interested in maybe getting to know me?" You have to sound as if you are very shy. So, to get that, i am so shy effect, add some (UUS)ums uhs and sighs.

Do me a favor: tell every girl or guy you know with a problem with another girl or guy to "JUST...TALK...TO...HIM!" or "JUST...TALK...TO...HER!"

Do yourself a favor: take the advice you give to them.

BEST OF LUCK, BUT REMEMBER...if he is a phsycho...stay, away! simple as supercalifrajilisticexpialidocious...
