writes:I went to a party and got really drunk. i don't remember what happened. i hooked with my ex-BF who i still really like and people are now telling me i hooked up with his mate, but one guy said that we did more than that i am pretty sure that he ment that i had sex with my ex'BF friend. I don't know if i'm still a virgin and i'm really scared that i may become pregnant, because it was excatly 2 weeks after my last period. there is no one i can talk to. i'm so lost. i can't think stright and no one really no'z what happened to me...i really need help. I need to know of there is some way of knowing if i'm a virgin or not and what to do if i'm pregnant

I am now trying to find a family planning clinc to go to as i cannot go to the doctors as i do not have any money because i am still at school also i cannot go to the doctors because most people no who my family is. I may be able to get an pregnancy test from my school nurse, but i am very worried about what the out come may be. I'm also thinking about moving into my dads to get away from all the rumors going around because i have a history of depression and i do not want to go make to being someone who thinks about hurting themselves. Before the party i was happy and i'm going to try and keep it that way. i will write again when i know the outcome of the situation

reader, anonymous, writes (12 May 2009): I also say GO TO THE DOC NOW!!! It's too late for the morning after pill so you have to find out if you're pregnant by a pee test. Don't be scared, doctors see this all the time and they are there to help you.
The doctor can look inside you and tell you if your hymen has been broken. They can also put a long thin plastic stick inside you and take a swab, which will tell you if you got any STDs. They might also be able to detect semen? Not sure. They might also ask for a blood sample to test for further STDs. They might do an internal examination. These all sound a bit scary but trust me pregnancy is WAY scarier - a whole nine months of this prodding and poking! It's best to take care of it fast so that if there is nothing to worry about you can relax and if there IS something to worry about it can be taken care of quickly. You'll be ok :)
Also, if you go to a woman doc it is much easier and less embarassing. Girls have to get regular checkups anyway it's not as embarassing as it sounds.
I also say stay off the drink - if you do drink, always in MODERATION especially being a woman, we are just too vulnerable to things like this happening unfortunately.

 Go and see your doctor NOW, tell him what may have happened and he will arrange emergency contraception, and an STI test to make sure you haven't caught anything nasty.
And stay off the drink, the last thing you need is to fall pregnant while off your face!
