Have youvseen 'When Harry Met Sally'? This kinda reminds me of the movie. Well I think her best friend which should be a woman,but is a man, she gets emotional toward him and she talks to him and they get close and so Shes in love with him for being there for him and she loves you too. But really unless she is taking his phone calls over you or making plans with him more than she is you or when she is spending way too much time with him, then you should worry.

 As soon as they get intimate and kisses and stuff I'm afraid the best friend thing has gone. He will now be a threat to you if she is claiming that she is seeing him as a best friend. It will be so easy for her to kiss and see him behind your back now on that basis of friendship. She may be confused and you may have to ask her who she wants to be with , you or him I'm afraid.
