This is exactly what happened to me I got attached to a teacher because there was no one else to turn to. You think they are the most amazin person ever but most of the time they arent. It will go away when you discover what kind of a person they really are. Teachers often have split personalities

There are many reasons that students become attracted to the teacher, one being the amount of time that they have to spend with them. Another being the fact that they are an authority figure that the student admires. I think that when times are hard in a students home life this makes them particuarly vunerable and needy, this sometimes causes them to attach themselves to a teacher and create a friendship so that they feel close to someone. Hormones also play a part, in adolescence we can sometimes over evaluate actions and words of others and make them imply something that they didnt mean.
The main thing is that it is not out of the ordinary, what would be is to act on those feelings. You must be very careful how you treat the feelings that you have developed for your teacher. If they are too hard to deal with maybe it is best to avoid them or move class. x
