writes: Hey everyone, I was wondering on how to help a friend find a special someone, or just be more social around girls in general. He's being consumed with schoolwork and classes, but he has a great personality and humor. He's pretty shy around girls, a little nerdy, video game crazed. I think another problem is that he doesn't have much time for hanging out at malls or something because he's got so much work. He told me he'd like to find a girlfriend, but is it bad that I'm trying to force him out of his shell? What's some good advice for him, or what can I do to ease him in?

I suggest going to a bar/club, so he could get used to being around other people, especially women. Tell him to be confident, women like confident men, men who can be themselves. I wish your friend the best of luck, as well to you.:]
