I personally would never date a guy...even the thought of kissing another is nasty to me...but for some reason i have an urge to have sex with a guy. I don't know if its curiosity or what, but when i'm in a locker room, I like seeing other guys' penises. On the other hand, I date girls and do all the normal straight stuff with them, but straight porn does nothing for me anymore at all. From what i described, do you think I'm gay?

reader, anonymous, writes (26 November 2008): Mate your fifteen, its a funny kinda age sexually. From a psychologist point of view its not that strange that odd stuff is turning you on especially at 15. If it is causing you a lot of worry then i advise giving all porn a rest for a while.
Due to hormones and the fact your changing from a child to an adult it can cause very confusing sexual behavior and i believe your situation where the gay porn is turning you on but the thought of being with men is 'nasty' is simply a case of you being aroused by the forbidden or at least as you see it. This is related to your inner child (sorry if i sound cliche) This where you want what you cant have or 'shouldn't' and may pass later in puberty.
As for your age it is quite common that you will be interested in other mens 'bits' when in the shower because chances are you haven't seen many (porn does not count its unrealistic)
If you think you may be gay i recommend you wait until you mature a little more physically before exploring it as this may turn out to just be a phase.
As i said my best recommendation is to relax on the porn a little and masturbate less if your doing it a lot or vice versa (strictly for hormonal reasons) Hormones are very powerful at your age and you may turn around and think differently if there's a different balance in the body.

It might be that you're bi. You can be sexually attracted to guys and girls. And at your age it's okay to be curious. People at your age aren't sure about themselves and it's perfectly fine to experiement.

But i still date guys, and i am atracted to them. I have never wanted to date another girl, and i always think that same question to myself. But, no, i do not think that you are gay.
