Friends or more? Need advice...

A male United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

So...I met this girl at work. We hit it off from the start and really clicked. She is really special, truly one of a kind. We share similar interests, have the same sense of humor, we really clicked. She is like a female version of me. We text every day...sometimes mildly flirty. Her internship ended and we kept in touch. We went to a music festival over the weekend and had a great time, but I was too scared to make a move. Not sure if she wants to be just friends or more. I don't want to ruin the friendship that we are building, and get the feeling that after a bad breakup (from what I gathered) she may not be interested in a relationship right now. I know I'm not crazy though...there is definitely something there. I am also not the best looking guy but do have a great personality and am a great guy. I know she usually goes for more attractive guys (I recently lost a lot of weight and am working hard to be more attractive). Any advice for me?

BTW, I would be fine with being just friends if I knew there was no future relationship worth persuing, but don't wanna go chasing her and end up in the "friend zone"
