Next time, try to be more gentle, and make sure that she is wet and aroused so as to avoid hurting her again in future.

Two things - first, you may want to focus not inside the vagina, but her clitoris.
Second, use some KY on your fingers. Use lots of it. Also, do not put any fingers inside her vagina until you've spent lots of time on her clitoris and it's good and swollen. Then use some KY and gently glide *just* inside her vagina. Pay attention to the front of her vagina near her clitoris. It feels spongy and isn't that far inside it.
