He's 12 years older than me and every time we talk about having sex, it sounds great, but it never happens. Every time we're together, we wind up doing anything but having actual intercourse. I feel that he's been avoiding this because he feels weird about taking my virginity, expecially when I'm so much younger than him. Also, his family doesn't approve of the age difference, so I don't think he wants his family to think we're doing anything. How do I convince him that I'm ready for this and that I've waited long enough? Reply to this Question Share |

It's not that important to lose your virginity, as long as you're getting sex experience, that's probably a good thing.
if you can explain to him that there is no risk and that he will somehow try to not tell everyone by showing your feelings differently all of a sudden maybe he will feel more comfortable.
