Well if you work in the virtual world can you take long lunch breaks and meet a friend for lunch?
My friend works from home and I meet her for coffee in town a couple of days a week. She can just start a bit earlier as she doesn't have to commute further than her bedroom so she doesn't mind.
Either that or because you are in front of the computer all day, find someone you can email back and forth with or get on MSN.
Good Luck!! xx
