A female United Kingdom age 51-59, mammaboo writes:

Generally this time of year people tend to feel a little down in the dumps due to the darkness of winter and the cold. This only adds to whatever other miseries you may have.

Eating a healthy balenced diet to include leafy green veg, oily fish and white meat, such as turkey gives you a boost to your feel good endorphins; because apparently leafy green veg help to sustain your levels of dopamine, and turkey contains an amino acid called tyrosine, which helps to make the hormone, adrenalin, and so gives you more energy!

So meals like a lovely warm ceaser saled with fresh baked garlic bread would do the trick! Then take your dog for a walk to work it off, because now you have some energy! By petting your dog or cat you release a hormone called oxytocin, which is a neurotransmitter and floods the brain with feel good hormones! So lift your serotonin today and FEEL GOOD!!
