reader, anonymous, writes (31 January 2007): You are a woman of 21, you don't need your fathers approval. I know a lot of countries are different but generally you are an adult. But i think it would be wise for you to have an indepth talk with your father and put him in the picture. I don't know your father but if there is a any fears of violence then you should report him to the police. He does not govern your life. It isn't up to him to dictate how you live. I'm sure all will be ok once he is told and realises just how happy you are. I hope all goes well but don't let your father determine how you spend you future.
