I ask this because I seriously think that my life is being 'controlled' I am 18 years old, never had a girlfriend and yes this does get to me quite a lot from time to time. And even if I get close to getting one there always seems to be an event that stops me from being with a girl, it's like if there really is a god, he doesn't want me to be straight. Yet it gets worse when you see lads that you know of that really shouldn't be allowed to be anywhere near a girl. I've been told that I'm good looking. I'm a genuine lad, I like music, sports, working out and doing things that all other lads would do, yet it's almost like I don't exist, injustice is basically the word that sums everything up at the moment. Thank you for reading this in advance I will appreciate any answers.

I had this exact problem! Up untill 16 I never had a girfriend. Always though of myself as different. Then it all kindof fell into place at one point. I talked to a girl for about a year then all of the sudden we were going out! I was in complete and total disbelief because I had it in my mind that I could never have a girlfriend. Basically what im trying to say is that it will happen, just be patient. In the mean time just work on enjoyimg life. The right girl will come along! :)

What about ur confidence levels? R u normally shy or u a sociable person? A woman is attracted 2 a man that is confident and sure of himself. U didn't list those things so I'm not sure if u r that way or not. Ur young so u have ur whole life ahead of u so u have plenty of time 2 meet girls and experience a lot.of thongs in life. If work in where u r going 2 meet different girls r get ur self-esteem up, I'm sure they will b knocking down it door! Best of luck.
