Far away flowers on V-Day, does it mean anything?

A female age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I met this guy on a dating website almost a year now. We're talking as friends, nothing serious. He sent me flowers on Valentine's Day although we live in two different continents. Does this mean anything? I really like him, but I'm just worried to be disappointed! Maybe he's just trying to be nice and no romance involved??!!!

GeeGee255 agony auntSending flowers on Valentines day is a lovely way to show someone that you were thinking of them on that special day.

It can mean anything from I like you, to I love you or maybe he was just being nice, why don't you ask him?
