Family put my b/f in jail and will pursue it if I continue to see him

i had a boyfriend twice my age... i'm only 17 and he's in his late 30's... he has a wife and two kids... wev'e been together for almost 7 months... now the problem is my parents are really against in our relationship and he also wants to leave his wife... so we planned for an elope... we went to manila ( a capital city of the phillipines ) but unfortunately my dad caught us... he was put in jail... now my family treathens me that they will pursue the case if i continue my relationship with this man...so what will i do... do i have to follow my parent's or should i follow my heart....??? pls help me.... i'm in a state of confusion....
