My friend told me he liked me a few years ago after a nite out, and he said he didn't want anything to happen with us that would ruin our friendship in the future. So we got together for a few weeks but it didn't feel right so we both agreed to going back to been friends and we're still the best of friends to this day nearly 15 years later!!!

Tell her the worse that can happen is an awkwardness of about 2 weeks. I told one of my friends I loved him and he said "ah that's sweat" but I still felt better that the truth was known and that he wasn't going to love me. Life is nothing without risk.
