I failed my driving test 2nd time with 4 serious and 6minors!!

I go pieces when I have a test. I lay awake all night on the night of my test, I just couldn't sleep:( I couldn't start the car without stalling.

I couldn't even leave the test centre!! The examiner helped me move. I broke down when she got me to stop and told her I wanted to go back to the test centre but she told me to relax and have water.

I felt better but I just kept on stalling the car. Arghh..

What is wrong with me?!!

My instructor said I don't need anymore lessons cause I'm excellent driver. So it'd be a waste of money. So I should just get my brother to help me out before my next test.

Why do I get so nervous!! I took rescue remedy the drops and chewed my gum but it didn't work!! I'm so frustrated and upset with myself cause I can drive!! So why do I freak out on my test?!!

I failed 3 times before i finally managed to pass, i was the same with the constant worry. What did it for me is i just took some time away after my third test to practice with my parents (rather than instructor as at this point i knew how to drive i just panicked when it got to my test). After a month or so i was so relaxed with driving that i took my test and passed fourth time with a completely clean sheet.

PLease don't let it stress you out! I know it is easier said than done, but you must really try to relax yourself. Can you get more practice driving in an L plate car with a friend? this helped me a lot.

I failed my test 6 times, passed 7th now I have been driving years, no one cares how many times I took my test, just do I have a licence?

I have worked as a van driver and have driven all over the UK, nothing wrong with my driving.

I recently took a lorry test and failed, because I was so nervous. I have a huge problem taking practical tests. I ride horses but took a horse test for something easy and fell off lol I just seem to lose the plot when doing practical tests.

I eventually had a nervous breakdown due to my fear of failing tests and took medication for years. I caused myself physical problems, like high blood pressure, due to my stressing. I have sorted myself out now and I look back and feel bad I wasted so much of my life panicking about tests.

Don't make the same mistake as me. Just keep trying and don't focus on the fact it is a test, you will get there in the end :)

Book anew instructor because this one has bailed on you. Get a recommended driving school and rebook the test. They will be delighted to pick up the pieces and set you on the road to driving freedom. Dont ask yourbrother for help ,it will just increase the pressure. New instructor, new you,new brushing up techniques and new test. Good luck , you can do it !!
