I have not confronted him yet, on my side I have told him I want us to be friends first before being involved again. I want to know - is this a guy thing? Is it normal to be in love with someone and still be able to be physically intimate with someone else? Or is he just shitting me. Reply to this Question Share |

A lot of people view love and sex as 2 different things, although they can overlap (like how sex with someone you love can be better). So I suppose you could say it's normal. Especially since the two of you aren't together at the moment.

Your ex just made it very clear to you that he wants to sleep with other people. No matter what his reason, (one of his housemates? how many people does he live with?) if he thought he liked her, if he was drunk, if it just happened... guys are sexual but if he really cared about you, some cute housemate shouldn't be able to persuade him otherwise. How long had you two dated before? How long has he known this girl housemate? Why would he get himself in a situation like that if he really loved you?
