Ex-boyfriend inviting me to a party out of the blue

Hi everyone,

So this ex-bf of mine broke up with me about 7 months ago. I was mad and i didn't talk to him for a while and even deleted him off FB. Recently, about two weeks ago we re-connected on skype. He asked how my vacation was and told me some things about his life. I haven't been on skype for about a week now because I am busy with work and my life. Today out of nowhere he texted my phone out of nowhere saying that he has gotten many free tickets for the opening of a new hot club in town with free drinks an all and that if I want the tickets, I can have them! That is kinda strange because I am not a big party person and I don't go around looking for parties in town.

He has never invited me to any parties since we broke up and my impression was that he didn't want me present at the parties he goes to.

I wonder what does this mean? A generic message sent to all of his friends or something else?

I wonder if I should reply to him?

aunt honesty agony auntIts completely up to you what you want to do in this situation, do you still have feelings for this guy? maybe he realises now that he was wrong for dumping you and is trying to make things right, so this is up to you, if you would like to go out with him as a friend and see where it goes then give him a text and accept whats the worst that can happen? And if you dont want to polietly text him back and say no thanks.
