writes:Ok. So there is this guy, called *Rob. We were introduced through a good friend of ours. This is in January. Anyway, we didn't really get the chance to talk or anything until a month later on msn. Soon, these conversations came every other day, and they were long... 2 hours was usually the minimum. Then in Aril, he said "i have to tell you something..i love you". My reaction was 'what? where did *this come from!" and he responded, saying "because blah blah blah". Then 25 mins later, he took it back, saying that this was just a "test" because "all the girls i've ever been this personal to, fall in love w/me". I was like "ok, ego much!" So within the same week, he gets himself a girlfriend... and yet, he still has those every-other day convos w/me. And soon, they become daily text-messaging for like 3 hours. Then summer. No contact whatsoever. I come back, and learn that he's had 6 girlfriends in the summer.. And now, whenever i textmessage him, 1/3 of the time he answers.. and on those rare occasions where we do in fact, talk, he promises to "talk tomoro" (tomoro being more like next week) :S.. and at skool, i'm always met by his intense constant staring, and an occasional "hey", though the norm is for him 2 ignore me... So the problem is, sometime around june, i really fell for this guy... and even now, every female he talks to i just want to strangle her!! I tried to distance myself, and block him out of my thoughts, but i cant! Everytime he looks at me, my thoughts turn to mush. Please help... I dont know what to do next... thanks.

 I agree with cupid guy... the guy you feel you have fallen for is a PLAYER!!! As I was reading your entry, all I could think about was PLAYER PLAYER PLAYER!!! I've known too many of them and I've been friends with too many guys to not recognize it! This guy keeps stairing you down because he is probably horney & has a goal to sleep with 30 women by the end of this year or something and you're on his list. Having 6 girlfriends over the summer... it won't take him long to achieve that goal and you don't need to help him achieve his goal. FU*K HIM and go get yourself a real man that will call tomorrow when he says he will and one that may have only talked to ONE girl last summer.
I PROMISE YOU that if you get in any form of a relationship with this guy, it will cause you more heartache when he leaves you for someone else... I say this because he seems to be the type to do that to girls and you DO NOT deserve that. You're much better than that (which is why he's trying to reel ya in) don't let him. :)

 A guy has done that before to me as well. That 'test' they do on girls, which does indeed make you think 'ego much?!'.
You say you've fallen for him. But you've also said he has had 6 girlfriends in the summer. Okay? If you get with him, that's all you'll be - a NUMBER. Have more respect for yourself and go out with someone who appreciates you - and doesn't blank your texts!
