I agree with christinas comment below, try a lubricant or make sure you are relaxed and ready. Spending a bit of time getting in the mood (foreplay) should help. If this doesnt help then maybe he is being a bit rough. Also, never feel embarrest to tell the person your having sex with what does and doesnt feel good.
