 I get them sometimes just thinking about my girlfriend even though I may not be thinking about sexual things.
They can happen when you least expect it.
I have a theory that guys often sub consciously think about arousal even though were not thinking it on a conscious level hence causing the erection.
At the end of the day its just blood flow and you cant control where that goes.
Just be happy you can have one, some guys cant :-)
