 Well, apart from his being an idiot, he's been having nostalgic feelings for his ex. What he conveniently forgot is that there was a reason they broke up the first time.
There's nothing you can do except get a lawyer and protect your interests, including alimony, spousal support, and child support (if you two have kids).
He's making the biggest mistake of his life.
