Hi Everybody,

I have been going through a terrible and devastating break up lately. I would like to share with you one thing which saw me through these difficult times and has been an amazing source of strength.

Dynamic Meditation or active meditation as developed by Osho is a powerful means to sail through emotional upheaval.

The mediatation is a for an hour broken up into four stages. The first stage of 10 minutes is chaotic breathing where you exhale deeply and let the body take care of inhalation. This sets the stage for the next stage which is kind of a catharsis. In the second stage you scream , dance , shake , dance or laugh by giving your whole body to this process of venting. This is for 10 minutes. Next is where you jump and say the mantra "hoo" continuosly for 10 minutes. This can be very excruciating and demanding but if you hold on the results would be amazing! The fourth stage is where you stand still like a statue and in the fourth you celebrate in whatever way you want to. I dance.

How does this alleviate your suffering and make you stronger? first, by a deep process of catharsis in the first two stages. Most of the time a good scream or a deep cry can work wonders and can be very therapeutic. The third stage is a lovely way of reconnecting and gathering energy from nature and the fourth reconnecting with your being and celebrating your existence.

There is music available in a CD purchasable from oshoworld.com.

A demo of the meditation is available in youtube/google video
