You are right at the very beginning of learning about your body in this new way. It takes a long time to understand how everything works, don't try to rush things, it will happen naturally. Never think there any thing wrong with you though, ok? :)

Honey, there is absolutely nothing wrong with you, since you are only 13 your sex-drive just isn't fully developed yet. It will happen in time.

Would you mind telling us how old you are?
It makes a difference. It is quite common for teenage girls not to enjoy sex and masturbation. It takes some of us quite some time to get used to having pleasurable feelings. I was 19 when I first masturbated and enjoyed it, before then it did nothing for me. And I'm totally normal. Well, almost ;-)

There may be nothing wrong with you. It is possible that you are asexual. There is a site on the internet with information on the subject, created by a guy named David Jay. I think he and his site might be best suited to help you figure this out. I interviewed him for my radio show Frank Talks, and I must say he is a very genuine and helpful person.

Are you anxious when you masturbate? Nervous? Try to find a quiet time when you know no one can disturb you. Have you tried using visual things like magazines, or reading erotic stories? They can help. Try stimulating your breasts at the same time. Try to hear your voice moaning. As for sex with someone, also you could be nervous. Or ashamed. Or poor body image. Were you hurt in the past? Did someone in your family convince you that sex was bad and dirty? If your problem continues please try to talk to a professional. Life is too short not to enjoy sex, as sex is certainly part of life. Best of luck sweetie.
