A female United Kingdom age , anonymous writes:

I have a very bad situation in my life. More than one drug addict children, but they are adults, but still my kids. Is there anybody who had been there. They might die, its terrible to say that but they were very close many times. Both of them over 20. It was very painful to see ,when his brother followed his big brother's steps. Everything have been tried , but nothing worked. I 'm at my wits ends, how can i have a life if i still care? How can you move on? Its not the same ,than a accident, that is very tragic, but you can put it behind,,this is on-going.Is there a kind person out there who can give me a piece of mind on this?

Laura1318 agony auntMy empathies to you for what you are going through at the moment. You have done all within your powers . The least you could do now is to pray for them. The state may send them to those institutions for their treatment.

brooke5426 agony auntFirst of all you are an amazingly strong woman and you should be aware of that and proud of yourself for it. I dont have any personal experience with drugs but I really feel for you and can empathise with what you are going through. I think you should call an organisation called FRANK. Their website is talktofrank.com or you can give them a call on 0800 77 66 00.

They are there specifically to help parents who are worried about drugs or need someone to talk to when you are worried about someone close to you who is being affected by drugs.

All the best

Brooke
