I went to the doctor when I first got them and she said that all I can do is exfoliate and there's no treatment unless for severe cases you get surgery so I started exfoliating an it helped but lately it's just been getting worse. I wax and pluck and it makes it worse and it looks ugly! I hate having pubic hair so I don't want to let it grow, only if I get a really bad spot or two I will. What am I supposed to do? I'm only seventeen??If anybody has or has had the same problem or has any advice on what to do please help. I don't want to have this for the rest of my life and I can't afford lazer treatment or hair remover therapy. Thanks xxxx

I've never had too much pubic hair and always wished I have a more defined 'triangle' of pubic hair. I do trim a bit right at the split of my vulva where my clitoris starts with scissors, and around my major lips a bit. But I'd never subject myself to the balding and razoring I hear about. I just like to keep it a bit neat for my man when he sucks and licks this area during oral. But it has never been requested. Thank goodness most hospital don't automatically shave a woman bald during child birth as they once did. I like natural. Sure, I've gotten a hair in my mouth when giving my man head, but it's not a big deal for me...

Even though you don't like pubic hair, you should let it grow just for a little while. You may be agitating your pubic area by the constant, plucking, waxing & etc. So give it rest for a minute, exfoliate first, then wax...and you should be okay then. But just give it a rest for right now.

It sounds like you need to leave the hairs for a while to grow out. You must be really causing the skin a lot of truama witht he plucking and exfoilating.
Coutinue to do what you need to do to stop them from growing under the skin and then give the area a break. You have to be careful with ingrown hairs as I have heard of people getting very big abcesses where they can become infected. Yo do no want the area scarring.
Try hair removal cream after the rest period. Lazer will be the best. You only need a treatment every 6 weeks so if you save you may be able to afford it. It may take about 8 treatments, it depends on your hair type. I have had lazer and swear by it.
