There could be a couple reasons for this as doggy style should be one of the more pleasureable positions for females as it comes closer than any to targeting your so called g spot. He could simply be too long for your body and thus every time he thrust hard, he hits your cervix which hurts like heck and can ultimately cause severe cramping and brusing. Try going a little less intense and him only going 3/4 way in and see if that makes a difference. The other reason could be that you have a fibroid on your cervix or located in the near vicinity. These are harmless tissue buildups that can ultimately cause excruciating pain if your partner goes in too deeply. The third option is that you have an STD that transpired to Pelivic Inflammatory Disease that inflames your uterus. PID can also be caused by too long of useage with a tampon so it doesn't necessarily have to come via STD. With that though, if you press on your abdomen, you would feel pain or an uncomfortable feeling. Hope that helps! Again, its typically from him being too long for your body and hitting your cervix, you can actually find a position while still doing doggy style that doesn't hurt you and allows him to enter you fully...it just might be a little off to the side. Good luck!

It allows for deeper penetration. Your vagina is not infinite in length. He might be hitting the end. Or the angle might be wrong.
Either try more arousal (your vagina increases in length/depth, but not infinite) or try a different angle or try less deep or simple accept that somethings just don't feel good for some people.

Every person is shaped differently and some things are more uncomfortable for some than for others because of this. That sexual position is my personal favorite, but missionary is quite uncomfortable for me. It's just the way I'm shaped and built. There's nothing wrong with you; just don't do it like the dogs do:)

If it is only hurting you in this one position, then I would say there is nothing wrong. Some positions just feel different, and might even hurt some.
If you are worried, or if the pain is ever too much, or does not go away after switching positions, then go see your doctor so she can make sure nothing is wrong down there.
Sometimes doggy-style hurts me too. I have to be at a very particular angle, otherwise my BF is too far in and it hurts. If your up for it, have him go very slowly while you move around and arch your back, trying to see if there's a way that it feels good. But if it keeps hurting, then STOP! Don't push it.
Good luck!
