These things always come at the worst times' that kinda left me very confused, we carried on texting and he said oh i promise ill take you for lunch next week.... but does this all sound like im getting involved into a whole load of drama???

He has a kid, that means he has to stay in touch with and have drama with the mother of the kid.
Personally I wouldn't want to deal with that and you know this is going to keep happening as his child will and should always come first.
If you can't deal with that then no one would blame you. He has to live with the consequences of his actions just as single mums do.
Good Luck!! xx
